The height of a barcode can be reduced to 15 millimetres. That means that when the height of, for example, EAN13 is – according to the EAN13 scale ratio standard – 20.73 mm, it can be reduced to 15 mm. Such reduction may be carried out in the case of all scale ratios, except in the case of a horizontally positioned barcode.
